01 — The problem
The board wanted growth. The head wanted academic depth. The SLT was caught in the middle. Three competing strategy documents lived on the shared drive, and nobody opened any of them.
02 — The approach
Three workshops over six weeks. Pick the five things that matter. Stop doing everything else. Put a name next to each one. Set a date to review them. Then we sat with the team through the first two operating cycles to make sure it stuck.
03 — The result
One page. Five priorities. Twelve named owners. The board got its confidence back. The head's calendar finally lined up with the strategy on the wall.
