1. Data controller
Nordic Education Academy is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

2. The contact form
The contact form on this website does not send or store anything on our servers. When you press send, the website opens a new message in your own email program, addressed to info@nordiceducationacademy.com and filled in with what you typed: your name, role, school, country, email address and your message. Nothing is transmitted until you choose to send that email yourself. Once you send it, we receive it as an ordinary email.
3. Website analytics
We use PostHog product analytics to count page views and simple interactions, such as clicks on links and buttons and downloads of our resources. PostHog runs in a cookieless, memory-only mode on this website: no cookies and no local storage are set for analytics, and a new visit is not linked to an earlier one. Session recordings, surveys and heatmaps are switched off. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising tools of any kind.
Analytics data is sent to PostHog's EU cloud (eu.i.posthog.com). For each page view or interaction, PostHog receives the page URL, the referring page, your browser and device type, an approximate location that PostHog derives from your IP address, and the event itself (for example, which resource was downloaded).
4. Why we process it, and the legal basis
We use emails you send us solely to respond to your enquiry, understand whether we are a fit for your school, and follow up on the conversation you initiated. The legal basis under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) is that processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into any engagement, and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to unsolicited business enquiries. We use analytics data under Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in understanding which pages and resources are useful to school leaders.
5. Retention
Enquiry emails are retained for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted unless we have an active or ongoing engagement with your organisation. If we enter a formal engagement, records related to that engagement are retained for the period required by Danish accounting and contract law (typically five years). Analytics data is retained according to PostHog's default retention for our project. We can delete analytics data on request.
6. Who receives your data
Access to enquiry emails is limited to the founders and any staff directly supporting them. We use a small number of standard business tools (email, website hosting, and PostHog for analytics) whose providers act as data processors. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw any consent you previously gave.
- Lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.

We will update this page when our practices change or when our final legal review is complete. The current version was last updated on 2026-10-28.
